JP: Chaos Effect Amargospinus ( new biography) by Hellraptor JP: Chaos Effect Amargospinus ( new biography) by Hellraptor
This dangerous carnivore is cross between the theropod spinosaurus and the sauropod Amaragasaurus. The gene splicing during the manufactering procces gave it some odd featuers like spikes growing out from the sides from the neck and immense size. Unlike true saurpods it´s kinda swift and can run relativitly fast, one guard was first trampled and the eaten. Amargospinus was Ingen`s effort to try and create a sauropod sized carnivore. Wich the succeded with, to well. Its striking colouration is genetic defect that the scientist actually cant explain since none of the animals it orginates from has such bold colours. This occurs with all the hybrids created by InGen. The initial plan for this animal was to create something new for Jurassic Park taht could attract people. The only thing that was succsesfull was that it Went amok and tried to kill anything that went into its enclosure. Its huge bulk, whiping tail and Sharp spines makes it incredibly dangerous.

cross between Spinosaurus and Amargasaurus

24m/ 80 feet long
7m/ 25 feet tall
10 tons heavy.

Thank you :) its was a toyline created in 1997 where the theme was geneticly modified or mutated dinosaurs gone wild. It featured hybrids like this one and geneticly modified "purebred " Jp dinosaurs ( for being a jp dinosaur)

It's beautiful now , beautiful but dangerous and obviously not the best idea that they had. But it's nice that the result was able to survive having the DNA of both a plant eater, but also a predator.

Was Amargasaurus on the InGen lists? It's a pretty cool dinosaur...actually, is there more dinosaurs on the InGen lists than were actually shown in the movies? I know that Spinosaurus was not listed, but were there other dinosaurs? There has to be for some of these hybrids.

While this is a bad idea, it would make a worthy opponent for the Hybrid in the new movie. Simple, Spinosaurus blended with one of the few dinosaurs that didn't have to fear predators...an interesting battle for sure...oh a Chaos Effect style Warpath game, with the Hybrid rex of course...that would be an interesting fight game.

You know that Jurassic Park series idea I mentioned? I actually thought of a episode that this creature was terrorizing a small town in Florida, but the people thought that it was another cloned animal: A Indricotherium named Indy which befriended a young boy named Bobby (idea based off of the novel Balook). When they thought that Indy was dead, the Amargospinus attacked the group. But, when the group was cornered on top of a cliff, Indy saved them and fought the monster and won (by pushing it off of the cliff). Later, they found out that the Indroctherium and the Amargospinus were created by the same scientist and the Amargospinus was the one responsible for the attacks. And, since that the protection act I mentioned much earlier is protecting Indy (it doesn't just protects dinosaurs) and since it wasn't the terrorizer, they befriended him and actually made him their mascot.

Like that idea?
