Jurassic Park Dimorphodon (Updated 2014) by Hellraptor Jurassic Park Dimorphodon (Updated 2014) by Hellraptor
Dimorphodon= two form tooth
Codename: Big head
Diet: carnivore
Lenght: 1 m
Wingspann: 1,45 m
Weight: 5-7 Kilos
Period: early Jurassic, 180 mya
Area: Britain

This small pterosaur was bred thanks to its famousity and odd looking character. Dimorphodons were kept in a small aviary but unlike the bigger pterosaur species this one is not aggressive but dont hesitate to giva nasty bite if it feels threatend. They were not moved to the park since the bigger Pteranodon was more urgent to transfer from Sorna to Nublar. On isla sorna, dimorphodons lives in small flocks in the forests and mountains.

Defensive.

First Apperance: The Lost World:Jurassic Park videogame (1997)

This creature has me puzzled. They eat insects, but the ones in the game kept flying at the Compy (though it was interesting how they seemed so helpless once one the ground, it didn't take much to kill them). Would the larger winged creatures try to eat these little guys?

These things were ANNOYING when you played as the Hunter and Raptor in The Lost World PS1 game. They flew everywhere and they kept trying to peck at you. Like prehistoric mosquitos.... only they looked like lizards.

According to a leaked trailer description that got removed by Universal, these guys will show up in Jurassic World.

They were described as being very dark in colour (almost black) with red heads and really nasty teeth.

I still own and play that game and I'll be honest, I HATE!!! those flying bastards, they're almost impossible to hit before they hit you as a hunter or raptor (raptor being my all time favorite character to play ^^)

Have you found a strategy for these buggers?

I've noticed that a lot of the Jurassic Park dinosaurs are inherently hostile towards people.
Does the gene-splicing with frogs have a slight man-eating side effect?

Lousy Spielberg, stereotyping our dinosaurs.
