OldSchool Apatosaurus by Hellraptor OldSchool Apatosaurus by Hellraptor
Apatosaurus was 21 m long herbivore from the late Jurassic of USA. Its great size made it a hard and difficult prey for carnivores like Allosaurus. The whiplike tail could shatter bones with ease and it could rear up on its hindlegs, then crush its enemy with its share weight by stepping on it. A herbivore for sure but still a dangerous animal.

this is the only thing i dont like in JP novel, they said apatosaurus could break the neck of t-rex with a tail whip, but when t-rex entered the apatosaur fencing, they didn't do that and got killed :(

When I thought the name of the art I thought it was going to show Apatosaurus eating its victim like good ol' Brontosaurus, but I guess the aggressive nature exists...

Well i wanted it to look dangeours but not like a monster that eats people.

I see the concept of that since the good ol' Brontosaurus was depicted as being aggressive in the 1920-30's and not even that, but it was always wise not to disturb it either.

Don't mess with dinosaurs... even herbivores. Seriously: in real life, do you mess a bull, or a rhinocéros?

I think a real old-school Apatosaurus would have its head up in the air and it's tail dragging the ground. Those were the days...

Awesome artwork, though!

so since apatosaurus' could shatter predator bones i'm guessing you're suggesting it could slice a human in two?

I think they should add more dinosaurs into primal carnage cause there are so many predators people could use
